This was a typical
Multicell generated by a purely unstable convectional air mass following a
line of convergence. This resulted in some spectacular cumulonimbus cloud
formations. The day was warm; about 20°C for the max, and the convection was
forming behind a cold front that went through earlier.

The storm generated
multiple C-Gs near the front of the cell where the updraught zones were. The
thunder was high-amp in some discharges.

It moved away within
half an hour of it arriving in the Macclesfield area and proceeded to more
northern areas.
