A
very active convectional band of thunderstorms had worked their way up from
the south during the course of the day and were on their final approach to
Macclesfield. It seemed to be a weak affair initially but as the first cell
left another two followed closely behind which showed a bit more activity on
them. Only one close C-C discharge was caught on camera out of all three
cells.
